Dear Michael- you make a very sound analysis of the situation – God Bless you! Exactly what our Churches need: sound biblical teachings, the whole truth and that alone. We tread the paths our Lord Himself trod; The Bible as our only authority. May God give us a reformation in our land and in His Church. We need it badly. Sent from my HTC

When Paul was converted, he spent several days with the brethren before he set off on his assignment. Like Apolos, we need to give ourselves to intentional discipleship that teaches that the servant is not above his Master, and that if He faced trials, we too will face them. The overemphasis on prosperity with a mind focused on earthly riches and a quick fix to our problems will continue to pose a challenge to uncompromising Christianity. Intentional discipleship, sound biblical teaching, worship and prayer focused on the word of God, not entertainment to attract the youth or prayer for selfish gain, are what we need today in our churches.
